I’ll admit, before I got engaged, I stuck my nose up at fake flowers. Fine for a bathroom vase, I thought, but tacky for a bridal bouquet.
Then I discovered Ling’s Moment.
If you’ve not yet heard of Ling’s, they’re a leader in faux wedding florals, creating colorful collections of foam and silk arrangements. Ling’s offers both pre-made and DIY packages, so couples can tailor their selections based on their budget.
In addition to being extremely affordable compared to live florals, Ling’s makes it possible to design your dream day regardless of what’s in season. Getting married in April but really love those deep burgundy hues? Planning a winter wedding when your favorite flower is a summer bloom? Ling’s has you covered.
They release new and revamped palettes every season, along with tried-and-true color combinations that never go out of style, so the options are always fresh and on-trend.
Truly, I can’t say enough good things about Ling’s! Below is my detailed review of Ling’s Moment.
Our wedding florals
One thing I love about Ling’s is that I was able to get creative with our wedding florals. I mixed and matched pre-made and DIY flowers from a couple different color collections to curate the look I wanted for our ceremony and reception.
Here’s what I purchased:
Bridal bouquet
DIY French Yellow Designer Flower Box & Accent Combo in Nude and French Yellow
I bought a Deluxe Combo box and a supporting flower box to add some filler. The exact color I purchased is no longer available, as they’ve updated their yellow suite, but what they offer now is just as bright and beautiful.

Bridesmaids bouquets
Dusty Blue & Navy: Summer Dusty Blue Grand Box
The main colors for our wedding were shades of blue, and I fell in love with Ling’s Dusty Blue & Navy collection! I purchased DIY boxes for each of my bridesmaids’ bouquets.

Ceremony decor
- 6.5FT Flower Garland with Hanging Rose Leaves – Dusty Blue
- Wedding Arch Drapes in Dusty Blue and Navy
- Free-Standing Flower Arrangements in Dusty Blue and Navy
- Wrist Corsages in Romantic Dusty Blue
I used the flower garland, drapes, and free-standing arrangements to decorate our circular arch, and I used the wrist corsages to decorate the first two rows of seats reserved for our wedding party and immediate family members.
The wrist corsages came with a Velcro fastener and two attachments — ribbon, to tie around someone’s wrist; and a metal clamp, presumably to slide onto someone’s lapel or dress strap. But we used the metal clamp to attach the flowers to the string of our “Reserved” hanging tags!

Reception Decor
I used the flower sign decor for our welcome sign, and the flower garlands for our banquet tables. I repurposed our bouquets as centerpieces for each table!

Boutonnieres & Corsages
I bought simple boutonnieres, which the guys didn’t end up wearing. I did tuck one into my bouquet, though! I also gifted my mom and mother-in-law shoulder corsages. I chose a neutral color, as they wore champagne dresses.

Quality
I was so impressed with the quality of Ling’s florals! They arrived securely wrapped in sturdy boxes, which made them easy to store until we were ready to use them.
The foam flowers are strong yet incredibly soft, and the silk flowers are delicate without losing their shape. Leaves are thick with a very realistic color and shape. You can even see the veins in the eucalyptus leaves!
The variety of sizes, shapes, colors, and materials used creates depth for each arrangement. Each color is rich and vibrant!
Durability
Ling’s florals are strong! Of course, I handled them as gently as possible when stretching out garlands and shaping pre-made arrangements. But they withstood being unpacked, repacked, fluffed, folded, cable-tied, and clipped over the course of a year.
My parents took most of the florals home with them after the wedding. And when we visited them over Christmas (six months after our wedding), the flowers were all still in tact!
The sign decor still hangs on a door in our home 🙂
Throughout the bouquet assembly process, I did lose an accent or two (berries, small filler flowers) when I tugged on the top of a stem to adjust its position within the bouquet. It didn’t happen often, though, which pleasantly surprised me.
Selection
Ling’s has multiple color palettes for every season, which means couples can most likely find a collection that matches the vision they have for their wedding. Simple neutrals, romantic pastels, and bold statement colors are combined with greenery and accents that fit any vibe, from boho to whimsical to chic.

What I appreciate about Ling’s is the flexibility to mix and match. While most of my flowers came from the Dusty Blue and Navy collection, some came from the White and Sage collection, and my bouquet was French Yellow.
A variety of roses, peonies, dahlias, ranunculus, sunflowers, and gardenias are all available in multiple colors, so it’s easy to curate a custom collection.
I’m someone who regularly unsubscribes from marketing emails, but I’m still on the Ling’s Moment list (by choice!) because they unveil new color combos throughout the year, and it’s so fun to see what’s in season. Since our wedding, I’ve purchased two DIY flower boxes to create fall and winter bouquets for my dining room table.
Cost
For DIY couples on a budget, there’s no better faux florist than Ling’s Moment. All the florals linked and pictured above cost less than $1,000 total. And I get to keep my bouquet forever!
For example of the cost savings, here’s what was included in the Summer Dusty Blue Grand Box I used for bridesmaid bouquets:
- Silk Flowers: white chorale rose x1, white cladding ranunculus x1.
- Foam Flowers: dutch blue rose x3, dusty blue rose x3, dusty blue petite rose x1, dusty blue avalanche rose x2, ivory rose x1, white rose x1, white open rose x3, dusty blue high-centered rose x2, dusty blue gardenia x1.
- Accessories: green eucalyptus x2, white hydrangea x3, blue filler flower x5, green berries x3, green leaves x3.
That’s 6 different flower types in four different colors (27 flowers total!), 2 greenery types, and 1 natural accent piece! All for $29.99. It’d be impossible to curate the same bouquet at any craft store for the same price.
I had originally intended on selling my flowers after our wedding, but to be honest, I was too lazy (ha!). I’m also no longer on Facebook, and bridal groups would have been my preferred venue for resale, so I just donated everything to Goodwill. But it’d be easy to make at least 50% of a Ling’s investment back post-wedding, which makes these florals even more affordable.
